[Declined] Application - Priest (X-Realm)

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Name: Ali
Age: 19
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Middle-East +4:00 GMT)

CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Name:Kelthyzad
Class and spec: Priest (57/14/0) Discipline
Professions: Jewelcrafting/Enchanting (Solely for Pve boost)
Your armory link:http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Sylvanas&cn=Kelthyzad

Stats:

Healing: 2747
Mana Regen: 430
Haste: 636
Crit: 26.15%

Mostly I have a Haste+Crit gear. Spirit is a useless stat for Disc Priests as it barely regenerates any mana for us compared to Holy Priests. Mass pools of Intellect and high haste + Crit is what I aim for and what I think is best for Discipline Priests.

Previous guilds and reasons for leaving them:

Server: Nagrand - "Severance" The guild disbanded due to people not showing up for raids.
Sylvanas - "Memories" Again disbanded after ToC came out due to guild drama.

Why do you choose Imperium, and what do you expect?

I've known Imperium from a long time. I know how things are expected in the guild and I know how a hardcore guild works. I'm looking forward to Imperium because I need a hardcore guild. A guild that plays best what this game has to offer. Clearing content with efficiency and without lootwhores and wipecries. A guild which knows what progression is all about and how to work upto it. I expect exactly what I spoke of. A good frontal gaming from guildmembers and playing thier best in raids while having a good atmosphere. A guild which has 110% attention and seriousness yet laughs at the most random wipes.

Previous raiding experience (also pre wotlk and pre tbc).

Vanilla WoW

Molten Core: Cleared
Zul'Gurub 20: Cleared
Onyxia's Lair: Cleared
Blackwing Lair: Cleared
Ruins of Ahn' Qiraj 20: Cleared
Temple of Ahn' Qiraj: Cleared
Naxxramas 40: Cleared till Sapphiron

The Burning Crusade

Karazhan: Cleared
Gruul's Lair: Cleared
Serpentshrine Cavern: Cleared
The "Eye": Cleared
Black Temple: Cleared
Sunwell Plateau: Cleared till Mu'ru pre-nerf

WoTLK

Naxxramas: Cleared
Sartharion: Cleared (With 3 drakes up)
Malygos: Cleared
Ulduar: Cleared and done 2/4 hard modes
ToTc: Cleared
Icecrown Citadel: Cleared till Sindragosa

This is what I think are considerable achievements that i've accomplished in the past.

My most considerable Pve Achievement was being in the guild who openend the gates to the Temple of Ahn Qiraj and being part of the raids which needed to create the sceptre of sands. Though I didn't get it but helping the guild was a unique experience.

My second considerable PvE Achievement which I think was getting the 'Glory of the Raider 25man' before Ulduar was released which I think was quite a hard feat with the gear available at that time.

RELEVANT INFORMATION:

Do you enjoy your class and will you play it for a long long time?

-Healing always keeps me on the edge. A seconds mistake and it could lead to a wipe. I've always loved healing since Vanilla and will continue to do so. I went shadow when WoTLK but I started missing those healbot bars again. So I guess i'm stuck with healing for good.

How often do you play?

- Mostly whenever i'm free but usually from 18:00 - 00:00 when I'm working

Will you attend at least 4 raids regularly every week?

Yes. Raiding is the only thing I still play WoW for. Be it 4 or 6 raids, i'll attend them all.

Please provide us with a screenshot of your UI, and WWS report of any recent raids you have participated in

http://img96.imageshack.us/content_roun ... ia=mupload

As I havn't raided in a while, I do not have any available combat logs to prove that.

Do you see yourself as a fast learner on new encounters?

Yes, I do. Every encounter is unique and unless you don't adapt yourself to it you'll be making the same mistakes.

What are your strong sides in raids, and where do you feel you can improve?

A fast learner, not a loot whore, not a raid logger, Active, Always ready with foodbuffs and flasks for raid, Ready with tactics, Set up Vent and knows when to Shut the fuck up.
I'm not saying i'm perfect at playing my class but Critism is always good. And yes, I do not take critism as emo burst rage and /gquit instantly :)

Tell us a little something about yourself:

Nothing much to say here. Just a usual guy doing his graduation. Just got back from Holidays so I thought of playing World of Warcraft again. Other than that, I work at a Company as a part time assistant accountant and play the times when i'm free. On Friday it's usually me drunk with friends partying =) I guess that's all about me, Any questions feel free to ask.

Regards,

Kelthyzad.

Nice app, you seem to know your stuff to which is always good.

However, I'm going to say gear is an issue, mainly due to your spellpower being really low. I'd take a rough guess and say our disc priest has at least 3700 SP unbuffed, which a high amount is really a must especially when dealing with infest on LKHC which were currently progressing on.

Also, Spellwarding > Divine Fury.

Anyway, Goodluck <3

I know this sounds desperate but I have no other option. I'd rather raid as anything than nothing. I checked the Application status and found out that you are need of a ShadowPriest. I have raid experience as ShadowPriest as I was a full time ShadowPriest in Severance. My gear isn't at all relevant to the Shadowpriest gear but give me two days to collect whatever gear I can for Shadow. You can take this as a sign of willingness or a chance to raid. This is if you still need an active ShadowPriest. I do not have any logs of any such but if I can remember, I hit around 8k dps in Ulduar 1-2nd week fighting Mimiron. I know I have no evidence and all of this could be bullshit. But if you do need a Shadowpriest, I am willing to respecc to Shadow permanently.

I know this sounds really "Omg, he just needs the epics and fast raids" But I applied also keeping in mind that you consider willingness and determination over Gear and Shiny epics. Yes, I do love healing but I'm sick and tired of failed PuGs and random guild merge raids where everything ends in Drama or Rage quit. This is what I can offer from my side at the moment and sorry for all of this once again.

Kelthyzad.
